I decided to illustrate my full initial (JW) into an combined entity, as a result I treated the volume as J on the x-axis and W on the y-axis and produced this form.
Initially, I tried to employ the box slides method but later found out that there is an overlapping situation with some surfaces when they are articulated in an angle. (Such as the triangular void in the W form)
Therefore, I switch to trying the sectioning method, and created 45 slices by taking 5mm sections on the x-axis. Personally, I find the box slicing concept suits my design more, but as it turns out, the sectioning method seems to be a better option.
